Orientation at SAFA
From the first day of training, you will be exposed to an airline-style safety culture, crew and single-pilot resource management concepts, and aeronautical decision making skills. Additionally, you will learn to fly as a team (crew). This crew concept is precisely what you will find on the flight deck of all airlines in the world today. Course Development
Ground and flight training is delivered using a unique integrated Private Pilot/Instrument Rating course and a Commercial Pilot course that provides you the opportunity to focus on your career, not just a pilot certificate. These training courses are designed to provide you a solid foundation of basic flying skills and airmanship, while developing sound judgment and decision making abilities. You will be exposed to airline style training that includes video assisted briefings before and after each training lesson, simulators that allow the introduction and review of training material, and all-glass cockpit training aircraft that allow you to demonstrate mastery of the skills developed throughout training. Flight exams and ground exams are conducted throughout training to ensure proper understanding of material and efficient progress is being maintained. Cadets will be evaluated by both SAFA check instructors and KSA aviation authority examiners ensuring the highest quality standards.

The use of simulators throughout training provides a unique opportunity for the crew to fly a planned scenario before climbing into an aircraft. This type of training enhances safety, builds student confidence, and provides a cost- effective method of ensuring successful program completion.
