The Private Pilot Certification Course – Multi Engine is designed to provide a solid foundation of aeronautical knowledge and flying skills. This course has the fewest limitations and allows you to enjoy flight with friends and family on beautiful clear days.
The course is comprised of three stages of training:
- Stage 1: establishes your fundamental knowledge and skills by learning basic concepts and flight maneuvers in SAFA’s DA42 NG. Multi engine aerodynamics are also introduced.
- Stage 2: builds on the knowledge and skill obtained in Stage 1 by introducing more complex maneuvers, including “cross-country” and “night” flights.
- Stage 3: allows you to apply all of your knowledge and skills acquired in Stage 1 and 2 by achieving a solo flight in SAFA’s DA40 NG aircraft. Stage 3 culminates in an oral and flight examination that, upon successful completion, results in the issuance of a Private Pilot Certificate.
The Private Pilot Certificate can be easily upgraded to include more advanced capabilities such as an Instrument Rating for flying in poor visibility and weather, flying more advanced aircraft, or even pursuing flying as a career.
You can enroll for a private pilot course multi-engine only under a Part 61 regulation.
Course completion requirements
